Chongwe District Electoral Officer Mr. Damson Mukwato has officiated at the three-day Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) Early Warning System (EWS) workshop being held at Mika Hotel in Chongwe.
The workshop has brought together members of the Conflict Management and District Voter Education Committees from Lusaka, Chongwe, Rufunsa, Kafue and Chilanga districts.
In his opening remarks Mr. Mukwato urged participants to actively engage in the sessions to maximise the knowledge and skills being imparted.
He welcomed all delegates and encouraged them to apply the lessons acquired to promote peaceful, well-coordinated and incident-free elections.
The ECZ Early Warning System is a digital platform designed to proactively detect, prevent and respond to election-related conflicts before they escalate, thereby contributing to credible and peaceful electoral process.
