Chongwe Municipal Council has handed over golf shirts and caps to the Chongwe District Pool Team ahead of their participation in the Billiards Tournament scheduled for Monday, 3rd August 2026, at Billiards Cafe in Lusaka.
The Council has also paid the teamβs participation fee, further demonstrating its commitment to supporting sports development and the participation of local teams in competitive events.
The sports attire was officially handed over on behalf of the Council by Chongwe District Sports Development Officer, Ms. Precious Ndangile Mulenga who reaffirmed the Local Authority’s continued commitment to supporting all sports disciplines in the district.
Ms Mulenga wished the team success and encouraged them to uphold discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork, while representing Chongwe District with pride.
