A delegation from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has paid a courtesy call on Chongwe District Election Officer (DEO) to discuss measures aimed at preventing and combating corruption during the August 13th 2026 General Elections.
The engagement focused on helping the public understand practices that constitute electoral corruption, the importance of maintaining integrity throughout the electoral process and how members of the public can report suspected corrupt practices.
Members of the public can report suspected corruption to a toll free number 5980.
The visit forms part of ongoing public awareness initiatives aimed at promoting clean, transparent and credible elections and encouraging citizens to play their part in combating corruption.
